Rising Tide

The Story

A city forgetting what helps people feel awake, connected, and whole.

Everlynde has screens for everything, paths for everyone, and easy answers around every corner. But when the Static grows stronger, the city begins to feel dimmer, quieter, and lonelier. Nova Finch and her friends follow a small golden flower into a mystery that leads them toward hidden libraries, old maps, strange rooms, and the lost Everlyn Code.

Small choices can become part of a rising tide.

Who this edition is for

  • Younger readers who love mystery, adventure, friendship, and hopeful fantasy.
  • Families who want a story with meaningful themes but not a heavy lesson-plan feel.
  • Homeschool or classroom read-alouds with room for discussion about courage, calm, rest, belonging, and purpose.

How this edition feels

Warm, adventurous, and family-friendly.

The Junior Edition keeps the wonder, mystery, and heart of Everlyn while giving younger readers a clearer path through the story. The themes are still there, but they appear through friendship, discovery, funny moments, brave choices, and the feeling that one small light can change a city.

More accessible

Designed to be easier for younger readers to follow without losing the sense of wonder and mystery.

More family-centered

Built for shared reading, family discussion, homeschool use, and readers who love story worlds with heart.

Still Everlyn

The same city, the same Code, and the same rising tide — shaped for younger readers and growing dreamers.

The Everlyn Code

Simple rhythms, woven through story.

The Junior Edition introduces the Everlyn Code through adventure and discovery, not lectures. The six rhythms become places to visit, choices to make, and questions the characters learn to ask together.
